²⁰ Remember the word that I said to you, 'The servant is not superior to his Master.' If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.

After saying this he fell asleep.

¹² and labor, working with our own hands. When abused we bless, when persecuted we endure it,

⁹ persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed,

¹⁵ who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out and do not please God and are enemies to all men,

¹² And all who are determined to live religiously in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
