³ We give no occasion for stumbling to any one that our service may not be blamed,

¹⁰ so that you may discriminate between the things that differ, that you may be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,

⁵ But if any one does not know how to preside over his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?

¹⁵ but so that if I am delayed you may know how people should conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth.
