¹⁵ and the more boldly I did write to you, brethren, in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me by God,

⁵ through whom we did receive grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name;

³ For I say, through the grace that was given to me, to every one who is among you, not to think above what it behooves to think; but to think so as to think wisely, as to each God did deal a measure of faith,

⁶ And having gifts, different according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy -- 'According to the proportion of faith!'

¹⁰ According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, a foundation I have laid, and another does build on it,

¹⁰ and by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace that is towards me came not in vain, but more abundantly than they all did I labour, yet not I, but the grace of God that is with me;

¹⁵ and when God was well pleased -- having separated me from the womb of my mother, and having called me through His grace -- ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim him good news among the nations, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,

⁹ and having known the grace that was given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who were esteemed to be pillars, a right hand of fellowship they did give to me, and to Barnabas, that we to the nations, and they to the circumcision may go,

⁷ of which I became a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God that was given to me, according to the working of His power; ⁸ to me -- the less than the least of all the saints -- was given this grace, among the nations to proclaim good news -- the untraceable riches of the Christ,

¹¹ according to the good news of the glory of the blessed God, with which I was entrusted. ¹² And I give thanks to him who enabled me -- Christ Jesus our Lord -- that he did reckon me stedfast, having put me to the ministration, ¹³ who before was speaking evil, and persecuting, and insulting, but I found kindness, because, being ignorant, I did it in unbelief, ¹⁴ and exceedingly abound did the grace of our Lord, with faith and love that is in Christ Jesus:

⁶ These things placing before the brethren, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, being nourished by the words of the faith, and of the good teaching, which you did follow after,

⁶ For which cause I remind you to stir up\'7bkindle\'7d the gift of God that is in you through the putting on of my hands,

¹⁴ These things remind them of, testifying fully before the Lord -- not to strive about words to nothing profitable, but to the subversion of those hearing;

¹ Remind them to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rule, unto every good work to be ready,

²² And I entreat you, brethren, suffer the word of the exhortation, for also through few words I have written to you.

¹⁰ each, according as he received a gift, to one another ministering it, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; ¹¹ if any one does speak -- 'as oracles of God;' if any one does minister -- 'as of the ability which God does supply;' that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power -- to the ages of the ages. Amen.

¹² Through Silvanus, to you the faithful brother, as I reckon, through few words I did write, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you have stood.

¹² Therefore, I will not be careless always to remind you concerning these things, though, having known them, and having been established in the present truth, ¹³ and I think right, so long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up in reminding you, ¹⁴ having known that soon is the laying aside of my tabernacle, even as also our Lord Jesus Christ did show to me, ¹⁵ and I will be diligent that also at every time you have, after my outgoing, power to make to yourselves the remembrance of these things.

¹ This, now, beloved, a second letter to you I write, in both which I stir up your pure mind in reminding you, ² to be mindful of the sayings said before by the holy prophets, and of the command of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour,

¹⁵ and the long-suffering of our Lord count you salvation, according as also our beloved brother Paul -- according to the wisdom given to him -- did write to you,

¹² I write to you, little children, because the sins have been forgiven you through his name; ¹³ I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning; I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil. I write to you, little youths, because you have known the Father: ¹⁴ I did write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning; I did write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God in you does remain, and you have overcome the evil.

¹³ These things I did write to you who are believing in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that life you have age-during, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

³ Beloved, all diligence using to write to you concerning the common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting to agonize for the faith once delivered to the saints, ⁴ for there did come in unobserved certain men, long ago having been written beforehand to this judgment, impious, the grace of our God perverting to lasciviousness, and our only Master, God, and Lord -- Jesus Christ -- denying, ⁵ and to remind you I intend, you knowing once this, that the Lord, a people out of the land of Egypt having saved, again those who did not believe did destroy;
