Philippians 3 Cross References - RYLT

1 As to the rest, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord; the same things to write to you to me indeed is not tiresome, and for you is sure; 2 look to the dogs, look to the evil-workers, look to the concision; 3 for we are the circumcision, who by the Spirit are serving God, and glorying in Christ Jesus, and in flesh having no trust, 4 though I also have cause of trust in flesh. If any other one doth think to have trust in flesh, I more; 5 circumcision on the eighth day! of the race of Israel! of the tribe of Benjamin! a Hebrew of Hebrews! according to law a Pharisee! 6 according to zeal persecuting the assembly! according to righteousness that is in law becoming blameless! 7 But what things were to me gains, these I have counted, because of the Christ, loss; 8 yes, indeed, and I count all things to be loss, because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom of the all things I suffered loss, and do count them to be refuse, that Christ I may gain, and be found in him, 9 not having my righteousness, which is of law, but that which is through faith of Christ -- the righteousness that is of God by the faith, 10 to know him, and the power of his rising again, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death, 11 if anyhow I may attain to the rising again of the dead. 12 Not that I did already obtain, or have been already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by the Christ Jesus; 13 brethren, I do not reckon myself to have laid hold; and one thing -- the things behind indeed forgetting, and to the things before stretching forth -- 14 to the mark I pursue for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 As many, therefore, as are perfect -- let us think this, and if in anything you think otherwise, this also shall God reveal to you, 16 but to what we have come -- by the same rule walk, the same thing think; 17 become followers together of me, brethren, and observe those thus walking, according as you have us -- a pattern; 18 for many walk of whom many times I told you -- and now also weeping tell -- the enemies of the cross of the Christ! 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who the things on earth are minding. 20 For our citizenship is in the heavens, whence also a Saviour we await -- the Lord Jesus Christ -- 21 who shall transform the body of our humiliation to its becoming conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working of his power, even to subject to himself the all things.

Romans 1:17

Romans 3:19-22

19 And we have known that as many things as the law says, to those in the law it does speak, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may come under judgment to God; 20 therefore by works of law shall no flesh be declared righteous before Him, for through law is a knowledge of sin. 21 And now apart from law has the righteousness of God been manifested, testified to by the law and the prophets, 22 and the righteousness of God is through the faith of Jesus Christ to all, and upon all those believing, -- for there is no difference,

Romans 4:13-15

13 For not through law is the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, of his being heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith; 14 for if they who are of law are heirs, the faith has been made void, and the promise has been made useless; 15 for the law does work wrath; for where law is not, neither is transgression.

Romans 5:21

21 that even as the sin did reign in the death, so also the grace may reign, through righteousness, to life age-during, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 7:5-13

5 for when we were in the flesh, the passions of the sins, that are through the law, were working in our members, to bear fruit to the death; 6 and now we have ceased from the law, that being dead in which we were held, so that we may serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter. 7 What, then, shall we say? the law is sin? let it not be! but the sin I did not know except through law, for also the covetousness I had not known if the law had not said: 8 'You shall not covet;' and the sin having received an opportunity, through the command, did work in me all covetousness -- for apart from law sin is dead. 9 And I was alive apart from law once, and the command having come, the sin revived, and I died; 10 and the command that is for life, this was found by me for death; 11 for the sin, having received an opportunity, through the command, did deceive me, and through it did slay me; 12 so that the law, indeed, is holy, and the command holy, and righteous, and good. 13 That which is good then, to me has it become death? let it not be! but the sin, that it might appear sin, through the good, working death to me, that the sin might become exceeding sinful through the command,

Romans 10:1-6

1 Brethren, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that is to God for Israel, is -- for salvation; 2 for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge, 3 for not knowing the righteousness of God, and their own righteousness seeking to establish, to the righteousness of God they did not submit. 4 For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to every one who is believing, 5 for Moses does describe the righteousness that is of the law, that, 'The man who did them shall live in them,' 6 and the righteousness of faith does thus speak: 'You may not say in thine heart, Who shall go up to the heaven,' that is, Christ to bring down?

Galatians 3:10-13

10 for as many as are of works of law are under a curse, for it has been written, 'Cursed is every one who is not remaining in all things that have been written in the Book of the Law -- to do them,' 11 and that in law no one is declared righteous with God, is evident, because 'The righteous by faith shall live;' 12 and the law is not by faith, but -- 'The man who did them shall live in them.' 13 Christ did redeem us from the curse of the law, having become for us a curse, for it has been written, 'Cursed is every one who is hanging on a tree,'

Galatians 3:21-22

21 the law, then, is against the promises of God? -- let it not be! for if a law was given that was able to make alive, truly by law there would have been the righteousness, 22 but the Writing did shut up the whole under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ may be given to those believing.

31 having foreseen, he did speak concerning the rising again of the Christ, that his soul was not left to hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32 'This Jesus did God raise up, of which we are all witnesses; 33 at the right hand then of God having been exalted -- also the promise of the Holy Spirit having received from the Father -- he was shedding forth this, which now you see and hear; 34 for David did not go up to the heavens, and he said himself: The Lord said to my lord, Sit you at my right hand, 35 till I make your foes your footstool; 36 assuredly, therefore, let all the house of Israel know, that both Lord and Christ did God make him -- this Jesus whom you did crucify.' 37 And having heard, they were pricked to the heart; they say also to Peter, and to the rest of the apostles, 'What shall we do, men, brethren?' 38 and Peter said unto them, 'Reform, and be baptized each of you on the name of Jesus Christ, to remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,

Romans 6:3-11

3 are you ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized? 4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk. 5 For, if we have become planted together to the likeness of his death, so also we shall be of the rising again; 6 this knowing, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin; 7 for he who has died has been set free from the sin. 8 And if we died with Christ, we believe that we also shall live with him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised up out of the dead, does no more die, death over him has no more lordship; 10 for in that he died, to the sin he died once, and in that he lives, he lives to God; 11 so also you, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to the sin, and living to God in Jesus Christ our Lord.

19 for the good that I will, I do not; but the evil that I do not will, this I practise. 20 And if what I do not will, this I do, it is no longer I that work it, but the sin that is dwelling in me. 21 I find, then, the law, that when I desire to do what is right, with me the evil is present, 22 for I delight in the law of God according to the inward man, 23 and I behold another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of the sin that is in my members. 24 A wretched man I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this death?

Revelation 21:10-27

10 and he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and did show to me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God, and her light is like a stone most precious, as a jasper stone clear as crystal, 12 having also a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written thereon, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel, 13 at the east three gates, at the north three gates, at the south three gates, at the west three gates; 14 and the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who is speaking with me had a golden reed, that he may measure the city, and its gates, and its wall; 16 and the city lies square, and the length of it is as great as the breadth; and he did measure the city with the reed -- furlongs twelve thousand; the length, and the breadth, and the height, of it are equal; 17 and he measured its wall, an hundred forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of the messenger; 18 and the building of its wall was jasper, and the city is pure gold -- like to pure glass; 19 and the foundations of the wall of the city with every precious stone have been adorned; the first foundation jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates are twelve pearls, each several one of the gates was of one pearl; and the broad-place of the city is pure gold -- as transparent glass. 22 And a sanctuary I did not see in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, is its sanctuary, and the Lamb, 23 and the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp of it is the Lamb; 24 and the nations of the saved in its light shall walk, and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it, 25 and its gates shall not at all be shut by day, for night shall not be there; 26 and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it; 27 and there may not at all enter into it any thing defiling and doing abomination, and a lie, but -- those written in the scroll of the life of the Lamb.

1 Corinthians 15:25-28

25 for it behooves him to reign till he may have put all the enemies under his feet -- 26 the last enemy is done away -- death; 27 for all things He did put under his feet, and, when one may say that all things have been subjected, it is evident that He is excepted who did subject the all things to him, 28 and when the all things may be subjected to him, then the Son also himself shall be subject to Him, who did subject to him the all things, that God may be the all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:42-56

42 So also is the rising again of the dead: it is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption; 43 it is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body; 45 so also it has been written, 'The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam is for a life-giving spirit, 46 but that which is spiritual is not first, but that which was natural, afterwards that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is out of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord out of heaven; 48 as is the earthy, such are also the earthy; and as is the heavenly, such are also the heavenly; 49 and, according as we did bear the image of the earthy, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly. 50 And this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood the reign of God is not able to inherit, nor does the corruption inherit the incorruption; 51 lo, I tell you a secret; we indeed shall not all sleep, and we all shall be changed; 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we -- we shall be changed: 53 for it behooves this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality; 54 and when this corruptible may have put on incorruption, and this mortal may have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the word that has been written, 'The Death was swallowed up -- to victory; 55 where, O Death, thy sting? where, O Hades, thy victory?' 56 and the sting of the death is the sin, and the power of the sin the law;

Revelation 1:13-20

13 and in the midst of the seven lamp-stands, one like to a son of man, clothed to the foot, and girt round at the breast with a golden girdle, 14 and his head and hairs white, as if white wool -- as snow, and his eyes as a flame of fire; 15 and his feet like to fine brass, as in a furnace having been fired, and his voice as a sound of many waters, 16 and having in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth a sharp two-edged sword is proceeding, and his countenance is as the sun shining in its might. 17 And when I saw him, I did fall at his feet as dead, and he placed his right hand upon me, saying to me, 'Be not afraid; I am the First and the Last, 18 and he who is living, and I did become dead, and, lo, I am living to the ages of the ages. Amen! and I have the keys of the hades and of the death. 19 'Write the things that you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to come after these things; 20 the secret of the seven stars that you have seen upon my right hand, and the seven golden lamp-stands: the seven stars are messengers of the seven assemblies, and the seven lamp-stands that you have seen are seven assemblies.

Revelation 20:11-15

11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven did flee away, and place was not found for them; 12 and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls -- according to their works; 13 and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works; 14 and the death and the hades were cast to the lake of the fire -- this is the second death; 15 and if any one was not found written in the scroll of the life, he was cast to the lake of the fire.
