²⁰ and he who did receive the five talents having come, brought other five talents, saying, 'Sir, five talents you did deliver to me; lo, other five talents did I gain besides them.

¹⁶ 'And the first came near, saying, Sir, your pound did gain ten pounds; ¹⁷ and he said to him, Well done, good servant, because in a very little you did become faithful, be having authority over ten cities.

²⁴ but I make account of none of these, neither do I count my life precious to myself, so that I finish my course with joy, and the ministration that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the good news of the grace of God.

¹⁰ and by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace that is towards me came not in vain, but more abundantly than they all did I labour, yet not I, but the grace of God that is with me;

²⁹ for which also I labour, striving according to his working that is working in me in power.

¹ I do fully testify, then, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge living and dead at his manifestation and his reign -- ² preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season, convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching, ³ for there shall be a season when the sound teaching they will not suffer, but according to their own desires to themselves they shall heap up teachers -- itching in the hearing, ⁴ and indeed, from the truth the hearing they shall turn away, and to the fables they shall be turned aside. ⁵ And you -- watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; of your ministration make full assurance, ⁶ for I am already being poured out, and the time of my release has arrived; ⁷ the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept, ⁸ henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of the righteousness that the Lord -- the Righteous Judge -- shall give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving his manifestation.

¹⁸ But say may some one, You have faith, and I have works, show me thy faith out of thy works, and I will show you out of my works my faith:
