³¹ When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus said, 'Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in him;

¹⁰ And the messenger said to them, 'Fear not, for lo, I bring you good news of great joy, that shall be to all the people -- ¹¹ because there was born to you to-day a Saviour -- who is Christ the Lord -- in the city of David, ¹² and this is to you the sign: You shall find a babe wrapped up, lying in the manger.' ¹³ And suddenly there came with the messenger a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, ¹⁴ 'Glory in the highest to God, and upon earth peace, among men -- good will.'

⁵⁰ but I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how am I pressed till it may be completed!

³⁹ and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

⁴ and Jesus having heard, said, 'This ailment is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.'

²³ And Jesus responded to them, saying, 'The hour has come that the Son of Man may be glorified;

²⁸ Father, glorify Your name.' There came, therefore, a voice out of the heaven, 'I both glorified, and again I will glorify it;'

¹³ and whatever you may ask in my name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;

¹⁴ He will glorify me, because of mine He will take, and will tell to you.

¹ These things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to the heaven, and said -- 'Father, the hour has come, glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, ² according as You did give to him authority over all flesh, that -- all that You have given to him -- he may give to them life age-during; ³ and this is the life age-during, that they may know You, the only true God, and him whom You did send -- Jesus Christ; ⁴ I did glorify You on the earth, the work I did finish that You have given me, that I may do it. ⁵ 'And now, glorify me, You Father, with Yourself, with the glory that I had before the world was, with You; ⁶ I did manifest Your name to the men whom You have given to me out of the world; Yours they were, and to me You have given them, and Your word they have kept;

³⁶ assuredly, therefore, let all the house of Israel know, that both Lord and Christ did God make him -- this Jesus whom you did crucify.'

¹³ 'The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, did glorify His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, he having given judgment to release him,

⁶ that with one accord -- with one mouth -- you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; ⁷ wherefore receive you one another, according as also the Christ did receive us, to the glory of God. ⁸ And I say Jesus Christ to have become a ministrant of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises to the fathers, ⁹ and the nations for kindness to glorify God, according as it has been written, 'Because of this I will confess to You among nations, and to Your name I will sing praise,'

¹⁸ and we all, with unveiled face, the glory of the Lord beholding in a mirror, to the same image are being transformed, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

⁴ in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there does not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God; ⁵ for not ourselves do we preach, but Christ Jesus -- Lord, and ourselves your servants because of Jesus; ⁶ because it is God who said, Out of darkness light is to shine, who did shine in our hearts, for the enlightening of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ that there might be made known now to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly places, through the assembly, the manifold\'7bdiversified\'7d wisdom of God,

¹¹ and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁴ having blotted out the handwriting in the ordinances that is against us, that was contrary to us, and he has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross; ¹⁵ having stripped the principalities and the authorities, he made a shew of them openly -- having triumphed over them in it.

⁵ so also the Christ did not glorify himself to become chief priest, but He who spake unto him: 'My Son you are, I to-day have begotten you;' ⁶ as also in another place He says, 'You are a priest -- to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;' ⁷ who in the days of his flesh both prayers and supplications unto Him who was able to save him from death -- with strong crying and tears -- having offered up, and having been heard in respect to that which he feared, ⁸ through being a Son, did learn by the things which he suffered -- the obedience, ⁹ and having been made perfect, he did become to all those obeying him a cause of salvation age-during,

²¹ who through him do believe in God, who did raise out of the dead, and glory to him did give, so that your faith and hope may be in God.

¹¹ if any one does speak -- 'as oracles of God;' if any one does minister -- 'as of the ability which God does supply;' that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power -- to the ages of the ages. Amen.

⁹ and they sing a new song, saying, 'Worthy are you to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because you were slain, and did redeem us to God in your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, ¹⁰ and did make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.' ¹¹ And I saw, and I heard the voice of many messengers round the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders -- and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands -- ¹² saying with a great voice, 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!' ¹³ and every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, 'To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, is the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might -- to the ages of the ages!' ¹⁴ and the four living creatures said, 'Amen!' and the twenty-four elders fell down and they bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages.
