¹¹ for which also we do pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and may fulfil all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of the faith in power,

²⁸ for of itself does the earth bear fruit, first a blade, afterwards an ear, afterwards full corn in the ear;

³² 'Fear not, little flock, because your Father did delight to give you the reign;

²⁷ work not for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to life age-during, which the Son of Man will give to you, for him did the Father seal -- even God.' ²⁸ They said therefore unto him, 'What may we do that we may work the works of God?' ²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, 'This is the work of God, that you may believe in him whom He did send.'

⁹ for God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the good news of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,

³⁰ and whom He did fore-appoint, these also He did call; and whom He did call, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He did glorify.

²³ and that He might make known the riches of His glory on vessels of kindness, that He before prepared for glory, whom also He did call -- us -- ²⁴ not only out of Jews, but also out of nations,

⁸ who also shall confirm you unto the end -- unblameable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ;

⁵ having foreordained\'7bbeforehand appointed, pre-selected\'7d us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

⁹ having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,

¹⁶ do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

¹⁹ and what the exceeding greatness\'7bexcelling magnitude\'7d of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might, ²⁰ which He wrought\'7bworked, effected\'7d in the Christ, having raised him out of the dead, and did set him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

¹⁴ For this cause I bow\'7bbend\'7d my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named, ¹⁶ that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might\'7bpower\'7d to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man\'7bperson\'7d, ¹⁷ that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, in love having been rooted and founded, ¹⁸ that you may be in strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, ¹⁹ to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding\'7bsurpassing\'7d the knowledge, that you may be filled -- to all the fulness of God; ²⁰ and to Him who is able above all things to do exceeding abundantly\'7bsuper abundantly\'7d what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us, ²¹ to Him is the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.

⁶ having been confident of this very thing, that He who did begin in you a good work, will perform it till a day of Jesus Christ,

⁹ and this I pray, that your love yet more and more may abound in full knowledge, and all judgment, ¹⁰ for your proving the things that differ, that you may be pure and offenceless -- to a day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruit of righteousness, that is through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

¹³ for God it is who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

¹⁴ to the mark I pursue for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

⁹ Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God, ¹¹ in all might being made mighty according to the power of His glory, to all endurance and long-suffering with joy. ¹² Giving thanks to the Father who did make us meet for the participation of the inheritance of the saints in the light, ¹³ who did rescue us out of the authority of the darkness, and did translate us into the reign of the Son of His love,

³ unceasingly remembering of you the work of the faith, and the labour of the love, and the endurance of the hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of our God and Father,

¹² for your walking worthily of God, who is calling you to His own reign and glory. ¹³ Because of this also, we -- we do give thanks to God continually, that, having received the word of hearing from us of God, you accepted, not the word of man, but as it is truly, the word of God, who also does work in you who believe;

⁹ for what thanks are we able to recompense to God for you, for all the joy with which we do joy because of you in the presence of our God? ¹⁰ night and day exceedingly beseeching, that we might see your face, and perfect the things lacking in your faith. ¹¹ And our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you, ¹² and you the Lord cause to increase and to abound in the love to one another, and to all, even as we also to you, ¹³ to the establishing your hearts blameless in sanctification before our God and Father, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

⁵ a token of the righteous judgment of God, for your being counted worthy of the reign of God, for which also you suffer,

¹⁴ to which He did call you through our good news, to the acquiring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ;

⁴ and when the kindness and the love to men of God our Saviour did appear ⁵ (not by works that are in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness,) He did save us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ which He poured upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour, ⁷ that having been declared righteous by His grace, heirs we may become according to the hope of life age-during.

¹ Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the apostle and chief priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,

² looking to the author and perfecter of faith -- Jesus, who, over-against the joy set before him -- did endure a cross, shame having despised, on the right hand also of the throne of God did sit down;

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, who did call you to His age-during glory in Christ Jesus, having suffered a little, Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you;

⁴ You have a few names even in Sardis who did not defile their garments, and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy.

¹⁰ and did make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.'
