²⁵ Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret for long ages past,

¹⁷ For truly I say to you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

³⁵ That what was spoken by the prophet might be fulfilled, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

²³ And he turned to his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see: ²⁴ For I tell you, that many prophets and kings desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

²⁰ And immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, saying that he is the Son of God.

³² And now, brethren, I commit you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

¹⁶ On that day God shall judge the secrets of men through Jesus Christ, as my gospel proclaims.

⁴ Who are you to judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. And he shall be upheld: for the Lord is able to make him stand.

²³ But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness;

¹ And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with lofty speech or wisdom as I declared to you the testimony of God. ² For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

⁷ But we speak the wisdom of God, once secret and hidden, which God ordained for our glory before the ages:

¹ Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

³ But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

⁵ For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

² I went up because of a revelation, and communicated to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of repute, lest by any means I should be running, or had run, in vain.

⁹ Having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he set forth in him:

³ That by revelation he made known to me the mystery; as I wrote before briefly. ⁴ When you read this, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, ⁵ Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

⁹ And make all men see what is the plan of the mystery, which from past ages has been hidden in God, who created all things:

¹¹ According to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord:

²⁰ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, ²¹ To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.

¹⁹ And for me, that words may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

²⁶ That is, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but has now been made manifest to his saints; ²⁷ To whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

¹³ So that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

¹⁴ To this he called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us, and has given us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, ¹⁷ Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.

³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.

⁹ Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not by virtue of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

⁸ Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David, according to my gospel,

² Which rests in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the beginning of time;

²⁵ Therefore, he is also able to completely save those who come to God through him, for he ever lives to make intercession for them.

¹⁰ Of this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that should come to you enquired and searched diligently: ¹¹ Seeking to find to whom and when the Spirit of Christ within them was pointing, when he testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow. ¹² It was revealed to them that they did not serve themselves, but you, in the things which have now been made known to you by those who preached the gospel to you through the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; things into which angels desire to look.

²⁰ Who was chosen before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for you,

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

²⁴ Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless in the presence of his glory with exceedingly great joy, ²⁵ To the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and majesty, dominion and authority, before all time, and now, and forevermore. Amen.
