³ And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who had been redeemed from the earth.

²⁵ At that time Jesus said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes. ²⁶ Yes, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight. ²⁷ All things have been delivered to me by my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; nor does any man know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

¹⁸ For the preaching of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness; but to those of us who are being saved it is the power of God.

¹⁴ But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

¹⁷ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except him who receives it.

² And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and one sat on the throne. ³ And he who sat there appeared like jasper and carnelian: and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. ⁴ And surrounding the throne were twenty-four thrones: and upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments; and upon their heads they had crowns of gold. ⁵ And out of the throne came flashes of lightning and peals of thunder: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. ⁶ And before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal: and in the center, around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind. ⁷ And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. ⁸ And the four living creatures each had six wings, covered with eyes around and within: and day and night they never stop saying, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. ⁹ And when those living creatures give glory and honour and thanks to him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, ¹⁰ The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹ You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹ And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

³ And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of the ages.
