⁸ The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof: but just speak the word, and my servant shall be healed.

¹¹ I baptize you with water for repentance: but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire.

¹⁴ But John tried to prevent him, saying, I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?

³ And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I am willing; be clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

And when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, do not trouble yourself: for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof: ⁷ Nor did I think myself worthy to come to you: but say the word, and my servant shall be healed.

¹⁹ And am no longer worthy to be called your son: treat me as one of your hired servants.

²¹ And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.

²⁷ It is he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.

⁶ Then he came to Simon Peter: and Peter said to him, Lord, do you wash my feet? ⁷ Jesus answered and said to him, What I do you do not understand now; but you shall understand later. ⁸ Peter said to him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.
