³⁸ Give, and it shall be given to you; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men put in your lap. For the measure you give to others shall be the same measure given back to you.

² For in the manner you judge, you shall be judged: and with the measure you use, it shall be measured to you.

⁴² And whoever shall give to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink because he is my disciple, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

²⁴ And he said to them, Take heed what you hear: with the measure you use, it shall be measured to you: and more besides.

³⁰ Give to every man who asks of you; and from him who takes away what is yours, do not ask for it back.

¹⁴ But for there to be equality; at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance may also be a supply for your want: that there may be equality. ¹⁵ As it is written, He who gathered much did not have too much; and he who gathered little had no lack.

⁶ Now this I say, He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. ⁷ Every man must do as he has decided in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion: for God loves a cheerful giver. ⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound to you; that you, always having enough in all things, may abound in every good work.

¹⁷ Not because I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit that increases to your credit. ¹⁸ But I have received all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and well-pleasing to God. ¹⁹ And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

¹³ For he shall receive judgment without mercy, who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, you who are, and were, O Holy One, because you have judged thus. ⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for such is their due.
