⁷⁴ That he would grant to us, that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear,

⁷¹ That we would be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us;

²² But now, having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you gain the benefit that leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

¹⁵ For you have not received a spirit of bondage leading to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry out, Abba, Father.

⁷ For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of self-discipline.
