⁹ Let the brother of humble circumstances rejoice that he is exalted:

⁵² He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the humble.

⁴⁸ And said to them, Whoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whoever shall receive me receives him who sent me: for he who is least among you, that one shall be great.

²⁰ Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

² By whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only this, but we also rejoice in tribulations: knowing that tribulation works perseverance;

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him that we may also be glorified with him.

¹⁰ As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

³ For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh,

¹⁴ I press on toward the goal for the prize, to which God has called me upward in Christ Jesus.

⁵ Listen, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him? ⁶ But you have despised the poor. Is it not the rich who oppress you, and drag you into court?

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

¹ Behold, how great is the love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God; and so we are. The world does not know us, because it did not know him. ² Beloved, now we are the sons of God; and what we shall be has not yet been disclosed: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

⁹ I know your tribulation and your poverty, (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ And have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God: and they shall reign upon the earth.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, from all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands; ¹⁰ And cried out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
