⁵ Therefore, when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me;

²⁰ But while he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. ²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. ²² Now all this was done to fulfill that which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which translated means, God with us.

³ And said to him, Are you he who is to come, or should we look for another?

³⁵ And the angel answered her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you: therefore the holy child to be born shall be called the Son of God.

¹⁹ And John, calling to him two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying, Are you he who is to come? or should we look for another?

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father,) full of grace and truth.

⁴ But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

¹⁶ And beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

⁶ And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, Let all the angels of God worship him.

¹⁴ Since then, as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he himself also partook of the same; that through death he might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil;

³ For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: therefore it is necessary that this one also have something to offer.

⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.

¹⁰ And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

²⁴ He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

² By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God: ³ And every spirit that does not confess Jesus, is not of God: this is the spirit of antichrist, of which you have heard that it was coming; and now is already in the world.

⁷ For many deceivers have gone out into the world, who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist.
