⁴² And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease to teach and preach Jesus as the Christ.

³⁷ Now in the daytime he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and stayed on the mount that is called Olivet.

¹ Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. ² And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was being carried to the temple gate which is called Beautiful, where they laid him daily to ask for alms from those who entered into the temple; ³ Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. ⁴ And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look at us. ⁵ And he gave his attention to them, expecting to receive something from them. ⁶ Then Peter said, Of silver and gold I have none; but what I have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! ⁷ And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankles received strength. ⁸ And leaping up he stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. ⁹ And all the people saw him walking and praising God: ¹⁰ And they knew that it was the one who sat begging for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him.

²⁰ But we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

²⁹ And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant to your servants that they may speak your word with all boldness,

²⁰ Go, stand in the temple and declare to the people all the words of this life. ²¹ And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning, and taught. Now the high priest came, and those who were with him, and called the council together, the full senate of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

⁵ Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ to them.

²⁰ How I kept back nothing that was profitable for you, but have taught you publicly, and from house to house,

¹⁵ So, for my part, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. ¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

² For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

¹⁴ But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

²⁰ But you did not learn Christ that way; ²¹ If indeed you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus,

² Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all patience and instruction.
