⁵ Beloved, you act faithfully whenever you perform any service for the brethren, especially when they are strangers.

⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his servants, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?

¹⁰ He who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he who is dishonest in the least is also dishonest in much. ¹¹ Therefore, if you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will entrust you with true riches? ¹² And if you have not been faithful with that which is another man's, who shall give you possessions of your own?

¹ Therefore, since we have this ministry by God's mercy, we do not loose heart; ² But we have renounced the hidden, shameful things, and do not walk in craftiness, nor handle the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. ³ But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

¹⁰ Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

¹⁷ And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

¹⁰ As every man has received a gift, so he should use it to serve one another, as befits good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If any man speak, let it be as one who speaks the oracles of God; if any man serves, let him do it as by the strength which God supplies: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
