2 Corinthians 10 Cross References - RKJNT

1 Now I, Paul, urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who am meek in your presence, but bold when I am absent from you. 2 I urge you, that when I am present I may not be bold with the confidence with which I expect to be bold against some, who think that we walk according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh: 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds. 5 We cast down arguments, and every lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 6 And we have a readiness to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is complete. 7 Do you look on things according to their outward appearance? If any man trusts that he is Christ's, let him remind himself, that, as he is Christ's, so are we. 8 For though I should boast somewhat freely of our authority, which the Lord has given us for building you up, and not for your destruction, I shall not be put to shame. 9 I do not wish to seem to be frightening you by my letters. 10 For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible. 11 Let such people realize this, that, the way we are in word by letters when we are absent, so we will also be in deeds when we are present. 12 We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves: but in measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, they are not wise. 13 But we will not boast of things without limit, but will keep within the field which God has assigned to us, a field which reaches even to you. 14 For we do not stretch beyond our limit, as though we had not reached to you: for we were the first to come as far as to you with the gospel of Christ: 15 We do not boast of things without limit, that is, of other men's labours; but we have hope, when your faith has increased, that our field among you shall be greatly enlarged, 16 So we may preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast of work already done in another man's field. 17 But he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord. 18 For it is not he who commends himself who is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.

And she said, Yes, for that much. 9 Then Peter said to her, How is it that you have agreed to test the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and shall carry you out as well. 10 Then she immediately fell down at his feet, and died: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

1 Corinthians 1:17

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with eloquent words of wisdom, lest the cross of Christ should be emptied of its power. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness; but to those of us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and frustrate the cleverness of the clever.

1 Corinthians 1:19

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and frustrate the cleverness of the clever. 20 Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the debater of this age? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:21

21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe. 22 For Jews require a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness; 24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are mighty; 28 And God has chosen base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, to reduce to nothing things that are: 29 That no flesh should boast in his presence.

1 Corinthians 2:3-4

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

1 Corinthians 4:19-20

19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will find out, not the speech of those who are puffed up, but their power. 20 For the kingdom of God does not consist of talk, but of power.

1 Corinthians 4:20-20

20 For the kingdom of God does not consist of talk, but of power. 21 What do you wish? shall I come to you with a rod, or in love, and in a spirit of gentleness?

2 Corinthians 3:1-3

1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? or do we need, as some others, letters of recommendation to you, or letters of recommendation from you? 2 You are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by all men: 3 And you show that you are letters of Christ delivered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:5

5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

2 Corinthians 3:12

12 Seeing then that we have such a hope, we use great boldness of speech:

2 Corinthians 4:4

4 For the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest they should see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal through us: we beg you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

14 For if I have boasted at all to him about you, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting to Titus has proved true. 15 And his inward affection abounds even more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 Now I, Paul, urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who am meek in your presence, but bold when I am absent from you. 2 I urge you, that when I am present I may not be bold with the confidence with which I expect to be bold against some, who think that we walk according to the flesh.

2 Corinthians 10:4

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds.

10 For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

2 Corinthians 10:12

12 We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves: but in measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, they are not wise. 13 But we will not boast of things without limit, but will keep within the field which God has assigned to us, a field which reaches even to you. 14 For we do not stretch beyond our limit, as though we had not reached to you: for we were the first to come as far as to you with the gospel of Christ: 15 We do not boast of things without limit, that is, of other men's labours; but we have hope, when your faith has increased, that our field among you shall be greatly enlarged,

2 Corinthians 10:18

18 For it is not he who commends himself who is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.

2 Corinthians 11:6

6 But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not in knowledge; we have made this plain to you in all things.

2 Corinthians 11:9-13

9 And when I was present with you, and in want, I burdened no man: for that which I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will continue to do. 10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man in the regions of Achaia shall stop me from this boasting. 11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows I do. 12 But what I do, that I will continue to do, that I may undermine the claim of those who desire opportunity to be regarded as our equals in that of which they boast. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:18

18 Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I will boast also.

2 Corinthians 11:21

21 To my shame, I must say, we were too weak to do that. Yet in whatever else anyone dares to boast, (I speak foolishly,) I also dare to boast.

23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more so; in labours more abundant, in beatings beyond number, in prison more frequently, in danger of death often.

5 Of such a man I will boast: yet of myself I will not boast, except of my weaknesses.

2 Corinthians 12:5-9

5 Of such a man I will boast: yet of myself I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. 6 If I should desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will speak the truth: but I refrain, lest any man should think of me beyond that which he sees in me, or hears from me.

2 Corinthians 12:6-9

6 If I should desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will speak the truth: but I refrain, lest any man should think of me beyond that which he sees in me, or hears from me. 7 And lest I should exalt myself beyond measure through the abundance of revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger from Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted beyond measure. 8 I begged the Lord thrice, that this might depart from me. 9 And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly will I boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:11

11 I have made a fool of myself; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind these superlative apostles, though I am nothing.

2 Corinthians 12:13-20

13 For in what way were you less favoured than other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong. 14 Behold, for the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I do not seek what is yours, but you: for the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I to be loved the less? 16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile. 17 Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent to you? 18 I urged Titus to go, and with him I sent the brother. Did Titus take advantage of you? did we not act in the same spirit and walk in the same steps? 19 All this time have you been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your strengthening. 20 For I fear that when I come, I shall not find you as I wish, and you shall not find me to be as you wish; lest perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, rivalries, slander, gossip, conceit, disorder:

2 Corinthians 12:20

20 For I fear that when I come, I shall not find you as I wish, and you shall not find me to be as you wish; lest perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, rivalries, slander, gossip, conceit, disorder:

2 Corinthians 13:2-4

2 The second time I was with you I warned those who have sinned in the past; and now, being absent, I warn them again, and all the others, that, if I come again, I will not spare them,

2 The second time I was with you I warned those who have sinned in the past; and now, being absent, I warn them again, and all the others, that, if I come again, I will not spare them,

2 The second time I was with you I warned those who have sinned in the past; and now, being absent, I warn them again, and all the others, that, if I come again, I will not spare them, 3 Since you seek a proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is mighty among you.

2 Corinthians 13:3

3 Since you seek a proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is mighty among you.

2 Corinthians 13:3-3

3 Since you seek a proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is mighty among you. 4 For though he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God to serve you.

2 Corinthians 13:7

7 Now I pray to God that you do no wrong; not that we should appear approved, but that you should do that which is right, even if we appear to be failures. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.

2 Corinthians 13:10

10 Therefore I write these things while absent, that when present I need not be severe in using the power which the Lord has given me for building up, and not for tearing down.

Galatians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle, (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Galatians 1:6-8

6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you by the grace of Christ, for another gospel: 7 Which is not truly another; but there are some who trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be eternally accursed.

Galatians 1:11-13

11 But I want you to know, brethren, that the gospel which I preached is not from man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came by revelation from Jesus Christ. 13 For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and tried to destroy it:

Galatians 2:5-9

5 We did not yield in subjection to them, not even for a hour; that the truth of the gospel might remain with you. 6 But those who seemed to be important, (what they were makes no difference to me: God shows no partiality:) well, those who seemed to be important added nothing to me: 7 But instead, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised; 8 (For he who worked effectively in Peter in his apostleship to the circumcised, also worked in me for the Gentiles:) 9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who were reputed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship; that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 3:29

29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 4:13

13 You know it was because of infirmity of the flesh that I first preached the gospel to you.

Galatians 4:13-14

13 You know it was because of infirmity of the flesh that I first preached the gospel to you. 14 And though my fleshly condition was a trial for you, you did not despise or reject me; but received me as an angel from God, as Christ Jesus himself.

Galatians 5:2

2 Behold, I, Paul say to you, that if you are circumcised, Christ shall be of no value to you.

Galatians 5:16-25

16 This I say, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are in conflict with one another: so that you cannot do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious; they are; sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, fits of rage, selfishness, dissensions, factions, 21 Envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like: of which I forewarn you, as I have also warned you in the past, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 Gentleness, self-control: against such things there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Galatians 6:13-14

13 For not even those who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. 14 But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

Ephesians 2:2-3

2 In which you walked in times past, according to the ways of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we all lived in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, like the others.

Ephesians 4:1

1 Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

Ephesians 4:7

7 But to every one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Ephesians 6:13-18

13 Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand on the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the readiness that is from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all these, take up the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert in it with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints;

Philippians 3:3

3 For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh, 4 Though I myself might have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has reason to trust in the flesh, I have more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; regarding the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, a persecutor of the church; regarding the righteousness which is of the law, blameless. 7 But whatever things were gain to me, those I have counted as loss for Christ. 8 Furthermore, I count all things as loss compared to the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, based on the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

Colossians 1:5

5 Because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel;

1 Thessalonians 5:8

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

2 Thessalonians 1:3

3 We ought always to thank God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith grows abundantly, and the love of every one of you for each other grows greater;

8 And then shall the lawless one be revealed, whom the Lord shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy by the brightness of his coming.

2 Thessalonians 3:17

12 And for this reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless, I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.

2 Timothy 2:3-4

3 Therefore endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:3

3 Therefore endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier on active service entangles himself with the affairs of civilian life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 4:7

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Philemon 1:9

9 Yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you, I, Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 5:9

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation for all those who obey him;

Hebrews 11:32-33

32 And what more shall I say? for time would fail me if I told of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthah; of David, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, established justice, obtained promises, closed the mouths of lions,

Hebrews 12:1

1 Therefore, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily entangle us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

14 Live as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the lusts of your former ignorance: 15 But as he who has called you is holy, so be holy in all your conduct;

22 He committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in his mouth; 23 And when he was reviled, he did not revile in return; and when he suffered, he did not threaten; but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

1 Peter 4:1-2

1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; 2 That he may live the rest of his time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
