¹³ Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness: but yield yourselves to God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

¹⁶ Do you not know that if you yield yourselves as slaves to obey someone, you are slaves of the one you obey; whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?

²² But now, having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you gain the benefit that leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

⁶ But now we have been released from the law, dead to that which held us bound; so that we serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

¹⁷ Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will welcome you,

¹³ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having been made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one who hangs on a tree.

⁹ (For the fruit of the Spirit consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

¹¹ Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are from Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

²⁰ Therefore, if you are dead with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as though still living in the world, do you submit to such ordinances as,

³ For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

²⁸ So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many; shall appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation to those who eagerly await him.

¹³ And make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be put out of joint; but rather be healed.

¹⁶ Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

¹ Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; ² That he may live the rest of his time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

²⁹ If you know that he is righteous, you know that every one who does right has been born of him.

⁷ Little children, let no man deceive you: he who does right is righteous, just as he is righteous.

² Down the middle of the street of the city. And on either side of the river was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruits, and yielded its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
