⁸ Though you have not seen him, you love him; and though you do not see him now, yet you believe in him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy:

³⁷ He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me food: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: ³⁶ Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. ³⁷ Then the righteous shall answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty, and give you drink? ³⁸ When did we see you a stranger, and take you in? or naked, and clothe you? ³⁹ Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, as you have done it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you have done it to me.

⁴² Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; for I did not come of my own accord, but he sent me.

¹⁵ If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

²¹ He who has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves me: and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

²⁴ He who does not love me does not keep my words: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.

²² So also you have sorrow now: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no man shall take your joy from you.

²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.

¹⁵ So when they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Feed my lambs. ¹⁶ He said to him a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Tend my sheep. ¹⁷ He said to him a third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Do you love me? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my sheep.

³⁴ And when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them, and rejoiced with all his household, because they believed in God.

¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

²² If any man does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come.

²² Who has also sealed us, and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

¹⁸ So we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ controls us; because we are convinced that one died for all, therefore all died: ¹⁵ And he died for all, that those who live should not henceforth live for themselves, but for him who died for them, and rose again.

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift.

⁴ Was caught up into paradise, and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

⁶ For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; but faith which works through love.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

¹³ In him you also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴ Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession, to the praise of his glory.

²⁴ Grace be to all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

²⁵ And having this confidence, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith;

³ For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh,

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

¹ Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

⁶ In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a time you may have to suffer various trials:

⁷ Therefore, to you who believe, he is precious: but to those who disbelieve, the stone which the builders rejected has become the very cornerstone,

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that does not fade away.

¹⁹ We love, because he first loved us. ²⁰ If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
