¹² having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;

¹⁰ Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that their angels in heaven continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁰ I say to you, that thus there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

¹⁷ And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and fortyfour cubits, according to a mans measure, which is that of an angel. ¹⁸ And the material of its wall was jasper; and the city was of pure gold, like to clear glass. ¹⁹ The foundationstones of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones: the first foundationstone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; ²⁰ the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. ²¹ And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl.
