⁹ And the kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her shall weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning,

¹¹ And the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worshiped the beast and his image, and whoever receiveth the mark of his name.

² with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

¹² And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet, but receive authority as kings one hour with the beast. ¹³ These have one mind, and give their power and authority to the beast.

³ for all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth became rich out of the abundance of her luxury.

⁷ As much as she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, so much torment and mourning give her. For she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no mourning;

¹⁸ and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like the great city!

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints and ye apostles and ye prophets! for God hath avenged you on her.

³ And a second time they said, Hallelujah! and her smoke goeth up for ever and ever.
