²⁸ Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme; ²⁹ but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath no forgiveness forever, but is exposed to everlasting sin. ³⁰ Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

⁵¹ Stiffnecked, and uncircumcised in heart and ears! ye do always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do ye.

¹³ though formerly I was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and a doer of outrage; but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly, in unbelief; ¹⁴ and the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ True is the saying, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

⁴ For it is impossible that those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and been make partakers of the Holy Spirit,

²⁶ For if we sin willingly after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remaineth a sacrifice for sins;

²⁹ of how much heavier punishment, think ye, will he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite to the Spirit of grace?

⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

¹ My children, these things I write to you, that ye may not sin. And if any one have sinned, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And he is a propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

¹⁶ If any one see his brother sin a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and shall give him life,to those who sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death; for that I do not say that he shall pray.
