⁶ But when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, ye having been rooted and grounded in love,

⁷ rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness for those who are perishing; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
