⁴³ And he called to him his disciples, and said to them, Truly do I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than all those who are casting into the treasury.

⁴² And whoever shall give to drink only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple, truly do I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

²⁹ And according as any one of the disciples was prospered, they determined every one of them to send relief to the brethren who dwelt in Judaea;

² that under a great trial of distress the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty increased the riches of their liberality;

¹² For if there be first the willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man hath, not according to what he hath not.

⁶ But this there is to say: He that soweth sparingly, shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully, shall reap also bountifully. ⁷ Each one, as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver. ⁸ And God is able to make every blessing abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work;
