⁴³ And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they were all wondering at all the things which he did, he said to his disciples,

²² And while they were together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,

⁵¹ And he went up to them into the boat, and the wind ceased. And they were exceedingly astonished, beyond measure.

³⁰ And departing thence, they passed through Galilee; and he would not that any one should know it. ³¹ For he taught his disciples, and said to them, The Son of man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men, and they will put him to death; and when he hath been put to death, after three days he will rise again. ³² But they understood not what he said, and were afraid to ask him.

³⁶ And all were amazed; and they spoke with one another, saying, What kind of word is this, that with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out?

⁹ For he and all that were with him were amazed at the draught of fishes, which they had taken;

²⁶ And amazement seized them all, and they gave glory to God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things today.

²⁵ And he said to them, Where is your faith? And they were afraid, and wondered, saying one to another, Who then is this, that he commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey him?

⁴³ And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they were all wondering at all the things which he did, he said to his disciples, ⁴⁴ As for you, let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men. ⁴⁵ But they knew not the meaning of these words, and it was hidden from them, that they might not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask him about these words.

¹⁰ and they recognized him as the man that sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him. ¹¹ And as he held fast to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomons greatly wondering. ¹² But Peter seeing it, answered the people: Men of Israel, why wonder ye at this?
