⁷ Now they know that all things whatever thou hast given me are from thee;

¹⁶ Jesus therefore answered them, and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me. ¹⁷ If any one is desirous to do his will, he will know concerning the teaching, whether it is from God, or whether I speak from myself.

²⁸ Jesus therefore said, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then ye will know that I am He, and do nothing of myself, but speak these things as the Father taught me.

²⁹ That which my Father hath given me is greater than all; and no one is able to tear [them] out of the Fathers hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.

⁴⁹ Because I have not spoken from myself; but the Father who sent me hath himself committed to me what I should say, and what I should speak; ⁵⁰ and I know that what he hath committed to me is everlasting life. What I speak therefore, I speak as the Father hath directed me.

⁷ If ye knew me, ye would know my Father also; and from this time ye know him, and have seen him. ⁸ Philip saith to him, Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied. ⁹ Jesus saith to him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how is it that thou sayest, Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not from myself; but the Father, who dwelleth in me, doeth his works.

²⁰ In that day ye will know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

¹⁵ Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.

²⁷ for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God. ²⁸ I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. ²⁹ His disciples say, Lo! now thou speakest plainly, and speakest no parable. ³⁰ Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any one should ask thee; by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

¹⁰ and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
