²³ And he went round the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

¹² But when they believed Philip, publishing the glad tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will see my face no more.

¹¹ And the night following, the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good courage; for as thou hast borne witness concerning me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

²³ And when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging; to whom he expounded, and earnestly testified, the kingdom of God, endeavoring to persuade them concerning Jesus both from the Law of Moses, and from the Prophets, from morning till evening.

¹⁹ and for me, that utterance may be given me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ in behalf of which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may proclaim it boldly, as I ought to speak.

¹⁴ and that the great part of the brethren, made confident in the Lord by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

³ praying at the same time for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for the sake of which I am also in bonds; ⁴ that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

⁹ in which I suffer hardship even unto bonds as an evildoer; but the word of God is not bound.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that the preaching might be fully accomplished by me, and that all the gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the lions mouth.
