²⁵ Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it. ²⁶ This is so he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word. ²⁷ So he will be able to present the congregation to himself as a glorious congregation, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It should be holy and without blemish.

² make my joy full by being of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, and of one purpose.

⁴ We write these things that our joy may be made full (complete).

⁹ One of the seven angels came to me. He had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues. He said: »Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife.«

¹² I have many things to write you. I would not write them with paper and ink: but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that your joy may be made full.
