⁷ Do they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?

⁷ Their eyes stand out with fatness, and their heart’s imagination run wild. ⁸ They ridicule. They speak maliciously. They speak arrogantly about oppression. ⁹ They set their mouth in the heavens and their tongue parades through the earth.

⁹ He has sent deliverance to his people. He has ordered that his covenant should continue forever. His name is holy and awesome.

³ »Your good ointment has a pleasing aroma. Your name is like pure ointment. Therefore the maidens do love you.

¹⁴ Therefore Jehovah will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel (God with us).

⁶ For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will accomplish this.

¹⁵ You will leave your name to my chosen ones as a curse. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name.

⁶ »In His days Judah will be saved. Israel will dwell securely. This is his name by which he will be called, Jehovah Is Our Righteousness.

²³ »The virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel,« which means: »God (God-like one) is with us.« (John 1:18)

¹³ I was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and a violent aggressor. I was shown mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

⁵ A mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to the beast. And authority to act was given to him to continue forty-two months. ⁶ He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, to slander his name, and his dwelling place, and those who live in heaven.

¹³ He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

¹⁶ He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, »King of Kings« and »Lord of Lords«!
