Hebrews 11:14 Cross References - NSB

¹⁴ Those who say such things declare that they are seeking a country of their own.

²³ We also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption and the release from our bodies by ransom. ²⁴ We are saved by this hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. For does a man hope for what he sees? ²⁵ If we hope for what we do not see, do we have patience to wait for it?

¹⁸ We do not look at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. For the things that are seen are temporal (for a season). But the things that are not seen are eternal.

²³ I am hard pressed between the two. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ for it is far better.

¹⁶ They desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Because of this, God is not ashamed to be called their God. He has prepared a city for them!

¹⁴ We do not have a city that continues. We seek after the city that is to come.
