This is so you may understand how Jehovah makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.« ⁸ All these your servants will come down to me and bow themselves before me. They will say: »Go out, you and all the people who follow you. Then I will go out.« He went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.

⁷ The Lord Jehovah helps me. That is why I will not be ashamed. I have set my face like a flint (firm and resolute). I know that I will not be put to shame.

¹⁸ »Today I have made you like a fortified city, an iron pillar, and a copper wall. You will be able to stand up to the whole land. You will be able to stand up to Judah's kings, its officials, its priests, and all the common people.
