⁶ »Jehovah your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, to LOVE JEHOVAH YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR BEING, that you may live.

¹⁹ ‘»I will give them one (united) heart, and put a new spirit within them. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.

³ Jesus answered: »Truly I tell you unless a person is born again (brought forth from above) he cannot see the kingdom of God.« ⁴ Nicodemus asked: »How could a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb again and be born?« ⁵ Jesus responded: »I tell you truth, except a man be born of water and the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! ⁶ »That which is born from the flesh is flesh and that which is born from the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ »Do not marvel that I say you must be born again.

²⁸ He is not a Jew who is one on the outside. Neither is circumcision that which is on the outside in the flesh. ²⁹ But he is a Jew who is so on the inside with circumcision of the heart, in spirit, not in letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

²⁸ We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

²⁶ In this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: The deliverer will come out of Zion and will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

³ But if any man loves God, God knows him.

¹⁷ If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things have passed away. Behold, they have become new.

¹¹ You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ.

¹² The man who endures under trial is blessed. For when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.

⁵ Listen, my dearly beloved brothers! Did God choose poor people in the world to be rich in faith and to receive the kingdom he promised to those who love him?

⁷ Beloved let us love one another, for love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

¹⁶ We know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love! He who continues with love lives with God and God lives with him. ¹⁷ This is love made perfect through us, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment. Just as he is, we are, amid (exposed to) this world. ¹⁸ There is no fear in love. Perfect (mature) love throws out (expels) fear because fear involves restraint (punishment). He who fears is not made perfect (mature) (complete) through love. ¹⁹ We love, because he first loved us.

³ For this is the love of God, that we obey his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. ⁴ Everything born from God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world, even our faith.
