¹³ »Say before Jehovah your God: ‘I have removed the sacred portion from my house. I also have given it to the Levite and the alien, the orphan and the widow, according to all your commandments that you have commanded me. I have not transgressed or forgotten any of your commandments.

²⁹ »This food is for the Levites, since they own no property, and for the foreigners, orphans, and widows who live in your towns. They are to come and get all they need. Do this, and Jehovah your God will bless you in everything you do.

¹² ‘Finish paying all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing. Then you shall give it to the Levite, the stranger, and the orphan and to the widow, that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.

²¹ I have kept the ways of Jehovah and I have not wickedly turned away from my God. ²² All his judgments are in front of me and I have not turned away from his laws. ²³ I was innocent as far as he was concerned. I have kept myself from guilt. ²⁴ Jehovah paid me back because of my righteousness. He can see that my hands are clean.

¹ ([Psalm of David]) Vindicate me, O Jehovah, because I have walked with (a life-style of) integrity and I have trusted you without wavering. ² Examine me, O Jehovah, and test me. Look closely (deeply) into my heart and mind. ³ Your loving-kindness is in front of me. I walk in your truth.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocence. I will walk around your altar, O Jehovah.

¹³⁹ My zeal has consumed me, for the reason that my adversaries have forgotten your words.

¹⁴¹ I am small and despised. Even so I do not forget your precepts.

¹⁵³ Look upon my affliction and rescue me, for I do not forget your law.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Look for your servant for I have not forgotten your commandments.

⁹³ I will never forget your precepts. By them you have revived me.

¹ My son, do not forget my law. Let your heart obey my commandments.

¹⁶ »I exercise myself always, to have a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.

¹² This is our pride and testimony of conscience. In holiness and Godly sincerity we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you. It was not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.

³¹ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed forever knows I do not lie.

¹⁰ You and God are witnesses, how devoutly and righteously, without blame, we behaved toward you who believe!

¹⁷ Whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his compassion from him, how does the love of God dwell in him? ¹⁸ My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth. ¹⁹ By this we shall know we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before him. ²⁰ If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us we have confidence toward God. ²² Whatever we ask we receive from Him because we obey His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
