1 Corinthians 12:12 Cross References - NSB

¹² For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many and are one body, so also is Christ.

⁴ For we have many members in one body and all members do not have the same function. ⁵ These many members are one body in Christ, and every one, individually, is a member one of the other.

²⁷ Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

¹⁷ For we being many are one-bread and one-body. We are all partakers of that one bread.

¹⁶ The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He did not say to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Christ.

²³ which is his body, the fullness of him who fills (accomplishes) (completes) all in all.

⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling.

¹² This is for the perfecting (equipping) (preparing) of the holy ones, for the work of ministering, for the building up of the body of Christ:

¹⁵ By speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in all things to him. For he, Christ, is the head. ¹⁶ The entire body is properly framed and fitted together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in due measure of each individual part. It makes the body increase by building itself in love.

²³ For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the congregation, he being the savior of the body.

³⁰ And we are members of his body!

¹⁸ He is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning (commencement), the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence (first place).

²⁴ I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake. I do my share in behalf of his body, the congregation, to provide what is lacking of the afflictions of Christ.

¹⁹ not holding fast to the head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, grows with the growth from God.

¹⁵ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. You were called in one body for this purpose. You be thankful.
