⁴ Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

³² After Noah was five hundred years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

⁸ But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah. ⁹ This is the ACCOUNT OF NOAH. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. He walked with God. ¹⁰ Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

¹ Jehovah said to Noah: »Go into the ark, you and your whole family. For I have found you righteous in this generation.

¹⁸ Noah’s sons who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham was the father of Canaan.

²⁹ Noah lived a total of nine hundred and fifty years, and then he died.

⁹ »To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. ¹⁰ »Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,« says Jehovah. »I have compassion on you.«

¹⁴ ‘»Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in that country, they would, by their righteousness, rescue only themselves,’ declares the Lord Jehovah.«

³⁷ »The presence of the Son of man will be similar to the days of Noah. ³⁸ »It will be like those days before the Flood. They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.

³⁶ the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,

²⁶ »The days of the Son of man will be like the days of Noah.

⁷ By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not seen as yet, moved with godly respect. He prepared an ark to save his house. By his faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.

⁵ He did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly!
