⁹ knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him.

⁹ Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety. ¹⁰ For you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. ¹¹ You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

²⁴ whom God raised up, having freed him from the pains of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it. ²⁵ For David says concerning him, 'I saw the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand, that I should not be shaken. ²⁶ Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced, and moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope; ²⁷ because you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. ²⁸ You made known to me the paths of life. You will make me full of joy in your presence.'

¹⁴ Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.

¹⁴ For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.

¹⁴ Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, ¹⁵ and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

¹⁶ who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

²⁵ Therefore he is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

¹² but this one, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; ¹³ from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.

¹⁸ and the Living one. I was dead, but look, I am alive forevermore. I have the keys of Death and of hell.
