³ Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I tell you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God."

⁴ but the LORD has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

²¹ 'Hear now this, foolish people, and without understanding; who have eyes, and do not see; who have ears, and do not hear:

¹⁸ For truly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or part of a letter will disappear from the Law, until all things are accomplished.

¹¹ And answering, he said to them, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but it is not given to them. ¹² For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever does not have, from him will be taken away even that which he has. ¹³ Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing, they do not hear, neither do they understand. ¹⁴ And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, 'In hearing you will hear, but will not understand, and seeing you will see, but not perceive. ¹⁵ For the heart of this people has grown dull, and their ears are sluggish in hearing, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn back, and I would heal them.' ¹⁶ "But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it.

¹³ who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

⁵¹ And he said to him, "Truly, truly, I tell you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

⁵ Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

¹⁷ All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. ¹⁸ Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

²³ having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding word of God. ²⁴ For, "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls; ²⁵ but the word of the Lord endures forever." This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

²⁹ If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of him.

⁹ Whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

¹ Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.

¹⁸ We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
