⁷ She said, "Who would have said to Abraham, that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."

¹¹ Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age. Sarah was past the age of childbearing. ¹² Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my husband being old also?"

¹⁰ For you are great, and do wondrous things. You are God alone.

²¹ Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has conceived these for me, since I have been bereaved of my children, and am solitary, an exile, and wandering back and forth? Who has brought up these? Look, I was left alone; these, where were they?'"

⁸ Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
