⁴ For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: "Seek me, and you will live;

¹ It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where the LORD your God has driven you, ² and shall return to the LORD your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; ³ that then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where the LORD your God has scattered you. ⁴ If any of you are driven out to the farthest horizon, from there will the LORD your God gather you, and from there he will bring you back: ⁵ and the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. ⁶ The LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live. ⁷ The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. ⁸ You shall return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command you this day.

⁹ You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

² and he went out to meet Asa, and said to him, "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you, while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

³ Jehoshaphat was alarmed, and set himself to seek to the LORD. He proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

³ For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherim, and the engraved images, and the molten images.

² The LORD looks down from heaven on the descendants of Adam, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.

²⁶ The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise the LORD who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.

⁸ My heart said to you, "I have sought your face." Your face, LORD, I will seek.

³² The humble will see it and rejoice. You who seek after God, let your heart live.

³ Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice. ⁴ Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

³ Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the faithful kindnesses of David.

⁶ Seek the LORD while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: ⁷ let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

¹² You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. ¹³ You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

²⁵ The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. ²⁶ It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

⁶ Seek the LORD, and you will live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and it devour, and there be no one to quench it in Bethel.

³ Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger.

⁸ For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
