¹⁹ What then do I say? That an idol is any thing? Or, that an idol's sacrifice is any thing? No.

²⁸ and he hath chosen those of humble birth in the world, and the despised, and them who are nothing, to bring to naught them who are something:

⁷ Not therefore he that planted, is to be accounted of, nor he that watered, but God who produced the growth.

⁴ As to the eating of the sacrifices of idols, therefore, we know that an idol is nothing in the world; and that there is no other God, but one.

² And if there should be in me the gift of prophecy, and I should understand all the mysteries, and every science; and if there should be in me all faith, so that I could move mountains, and love should not be in me, I should be nothing.
