⁷ Open your gates (O ye princes) lette the euerlastynge dores be opened, that the kyng of glory may come in.

³⁵ And when the arcke went forth, Moses sayde: Ryse vp Lorde and let thyne enemies be scatered, and let them that hate the flee before the. ³⁶ And when the arcke rested, he sayde retourne Lorde vnto the many thousandes of Israell.

¹⁷ And when they had brought in the arcke of the Lorde, & had set it euen in hys place, euen in the tabernacle that Dauid had prepared for it: Dauid offered burntofferynges and peaceofferynges before the Lorde,

⁶ And so the priestes brought the arcke of the apoyntment of the Lorde vnto hys place: euen into the quere of the temple, and place moste holy, vnder the wynges of the Cherubes.

¹¹ that the priestes coulde not endure to mynyster because of the cloud, for the glorye of the Lorde had filled the house of the Lorde.

¹ To the chaunter, a Psalme of Dauid. Lorde, how ioyfull is the kyng in thy strength? O how exceadyng glad is he of thy sauynge health?

⁵ His honour is great in thy sauing health, glory and great worship shalt thou laye vpon hym.

¹⁶ Why hoppe ye so, ye greate hylles? It pleaseth God to dwell vpon thys hyll yea the Lorde wyll abide in it for euer. ¹⁷ The charettes of God are many .M. tymes thousande, the Lorde is among them in the holy Sinai. ¹⁸ Thou art gone vp an hye, thou hast ledde captiuitie captiue, and receyued gyftes for men: Yea, euen for thyne enemyes, that they might dwell with the Lord God.

⁶ The very heauens declare his righteousnes, and all the people se his glory.

¹⁹ Open me the gates of ryghtuousnes, that I maye go in there thorowe, and geue thanckes vnto the Lord. ²⁰ This is the dore of the Lorde, the rightuous shall enter in thorow it.

⁸ Aryse, O Lord, into thy restynge place, thou and the arcke of thy strength.

² Open the gates, that the good people maye go in, whiche laboureth for the truthe.

⁷ yea, I will moue al heathen, & the comforte of all Heathen shall come, and so wyll I fyl thys house wyth honoure, sayeth the Lorde of hostes.

⁹ Thus the glorye of the last house shalbe greater then the fyrste, sayeth the Lorde of hostes: and in this place will I geue peace, sayeth the Lorde of hostes.

¹ Beholde, I wil sende my messaunger, which shall prepare the way before me: & the Lord whome, ye woulde haue, shall sone come to hys temple, yea, euen the messenger of the couenaunt, whome ye longe for. Beholde he commeth, sayeth the Lord of hostes

¹⁹ So then when the Lorde had spoken vnto them: he was receyued into heauen, and is set doune on the ryght hande of God.

⁸ whiche wisdome none of the rulars of this worlde knewe. For had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lorde of Glorye.

⁸ Wherfore he sayth: He is gone vp on hye, and had led captiuitie captiue, and hath geuen gyftes vnto men. ⁹ That he ascended, what meaneth it, but that he also descended fyrste into the loweste parties of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended, is euen the same also that ascended vp euen aboue all heauens, to fulfyll al thinges.

¹ Brethren haue not the faythe of oure Lorde Iesus Christe the Lorde of glorye in respect of persons.

²² whyche is on the right hande of God, and is gone into heauen, aungelles, power, and mighte, subdued vnto him.

¹⁸ but grow in grace, and in the knowledge of oure Lorde and Sauiour Iesus Christe. To whom be glorye both nowe and foreuer. Amen.

¹¹ thou art worthy Lorde to receiue glory and honour and power, for thou hast created al thinges, and for thy wylles sake they are and were created.
