⁵ He shal receaue the blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his sauiour.

²⁴ The Lord blesse the and kepe the. ²⁵ The Lord make his face shyne vpon the and be mercyfull vnto the. ²⁶ The Lord lyfte vp his countenaunce vpon the, and geue the peace. ²⁷ For ye shall put my name vpon the chyldren of Israel, that I maye blesse them.

²³ Who so offreth me thankes and prayse, he honoureth me: & this is the way, wherby I wyll shewe hym the sauynge healthe of God.

⁶ God, euen oure owne God, geue vs hys blessynge, that the earth maye brynge forth her encrease. ⁷ God blesse vs, and let all the endes of the world feare hym.

¹⁹ Praysed be the Lord dayly, euen the God whiche helpeth vs, & poureth hys benefites vpon vs. Selah.

¹⁷ Hys name shal endure for euer, his name shall remayne vnder the sunne amonge the posterites, which shalbe blessed thorow him and all the Heathen shall prayse hym.

¹ A Psalme and songe, of the sonnes of Corah, to the chaunter vpon Mahelath, for affliccyon, an instruccyon of Heman the Ezrathyte. O Lord God my sauiour, I cry day and nyghte before the:

¹² The Lorde is myndfull of vs, and blesseth vs: he blesseth the house of Israel, he blesseth the house of Aaron. ¹³ Yea he blesseth al them that feare the Lord both smale and great.

¹ The song of the steares. Blessed are all they that feare the Lord, & walke in his wayes. ² For thou shalte eate the laboures of thyne owne handes: O well is the, happy art thou. ³ Thy wyfe shalbe as the frutefull vyne vpon the walles of thy house. Thy chyldren lyke the Olyue braunches rounde about thy table. ⁴ Lo, thus shal the man be blessed, that feareth the lorde. ⁵ The lord shall so blesse the out of Syon, that thou shalt se Hierusalem in prosperytie all thy lyfe longe.

² Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, & am not afraid. For the Lorde God is my strength and my praise, he also shalbe my refuge.

¹⁵ He that ledeth a godly lyfe (saye I) and speaketh the trueth: He that abhorreth to do vyolence and dysceyte: he that kepeth his hande that he touche no rewarde: which stoppeth hys eares that he heare no councel agaynste the innocent: which holdeth doune hys eyes, that he se none euyll. ¹⁶ He it is, that shall dwell on hye whose sauegarde shalbe in the true rocke, to him shal be geuen the right true meate and drincke. ¹⁷ His eyes shall se the kynge in hys glory: and in the wyde worlde,

¹⁷ But Israell shalbe saued in the Lorde, which is the euerlastinge saluacion: They shall not come to shame ner confusyon, worlde without ende.

¹³ I shall brynge forth my ryghtuousnesse. It is not farre, and my health shall not traye longe awaye. I wyll laye health in Sion, and geue Israel my glorye.

⁵ It is harde by, that my health & my ryghteousnesse shall go forthe, and the people shalbe ordered wyth myne arme. The Ilandes (that is the Gentyles) shall hope in me, & put theyr truste in myne arme. ⁶ Lyfte vp youre eyes towarde heauen, & loke vpon the earthe beneth. For the heauens shall vanyshe awaye lyke smoke, & the earthe shall teare lyke a clothe, & they that dwell therein, shall peryshe in lyke maner. But my healthe endureth for euer, & my ryghtuousnes shall not cease.

⁸ for wormes and mothes shal eate them vp lyke cloth and wol. But my ryghtuousnesse shall endure for euer, & my sauinge health from generacion to generacyon,

¹⁷ but al the weapens that are made agaynste the, shal not prospere. And as for all tunges, that shall resiste the in iudgement, thou shalte ouercome them, and condempne them. This is the herytage of the Lordes seruauntes, and the ryghtuousnes that they shal haue of me, sayeth the Lorde.

¹⁰ And therfore I am ioyful in the Lorde, and my soule reioyseth in my God. For he shall put vpon me the garment of health, & couer me with the mantle of righteousnes. He shal decke me lyke a brydegrom, and as a bryde that hath her apparell vpon her.

³ blessed are the pore in sprete: for theirs is the kingdom of heauen. ⁴ Blessed are they that morne, for they shalbe comforted. ⁵ Blessed are the meke: for they shall inheret the earth. ⁶ Blessed are they which honger & thurste for rightuousnes: for they shalbe filled. ⁷ Blessed are the mercifull: for they shal obtaine mercy. ⁸ Blessed are the pure in hert: for thei shal se God. ⁹ Blessed are the peace makers: for thei shalbe called the children of God. ¹⁰ Blessed are they which suffer persecucion for rightuousnesse sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heauen: ¹¹ Blessed are ye when men reuile you and persecute you, and shal falsely say al maner of yuel sayinges against you for my sake. ¹² Reioyce & be glad, for great is your reward in heauen. For so persecuted they the prophetes which were before your dayes.

¹⁷ If any man wil do his wyll he shall knowe of the doctryne, whither it be of God, or whither I speake of my selfe.

²² The ryghteousnes no doubte whiche is good before God commeth by the fayth of Christe, vnto all and vpon all that beleue. There is no difference:

⁶ Euen as Dauid descrybeth the blessedfulnes of the man vnto whome God ascrybeth ryghteousnes withoute dedes. ⁷ Blessed are they, whose vnryghteousnes are forgeuen, and whose synnes are couered. ⁸ Blessed is that man to whome the Lord imputeth not synne. ⁹ Came thys blessednes then vpon the circumcysed or vpon the vncircumcysed? We say verelye how that fayth was rekened to Abraham for ryghtuousnes.

¹⁷ For if by the synne of one death reygned by the meanes of one: muche more shall they whiche receyue aboundaunce of grace & of the gyfte of ryghtuousnes reigne in life by the meanes of one (that is to saye) Iesus Christe. ¹⁸ Lykewyse then as by the synne of one, condemnacion came on al men: euen so by the iustifiyng of one commeth the ryghtuousnes that bryngeth lyfe vpon al men.

³⁰ And vnto him partaine ye in Christe Iesus, whiche of God is made to vs wysdome, and also rightuousnes, and sanctifiynge and redemption.

²¹ for he hath made hym to be synne for vs, whiche knewe no synne, that we by hys meanes should be that ryghtuousnes whiche before God is allowed.

⁹ So then they whiche be of faythe are blessed with faythful Abraham.

¹⁴ that the blessyng of Abraham myghte come on the Gentyles thorowe Iesus Christ and that we myght receyue the promes of the spyryte thorow fayth.

⁵ We loke for, and hope in the spiryte, to be iustifyed thorow fayth.

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christe, which hath blessed vs wyth all maner of spyrytuall blessynges in heauenlye thynges by Christe,

⁹ and might be founde in hym, not hauinge mine owne rightuousnes, which is of the lawe, but that whyche spryngeth of the fayth, is in CHRISTE. I meane the rightuousnes, whiche commeth of God thorowe fait

¹⁰ neyther be pyckers, but that they shewe all good faythfulnes, that they maye do worshyp to the doctryne of oure sauyoure God in all thynges. ¹¹ For the grace of God, that bringeth saluacion vnto al men, hath apered ¹² & teacheth vs that we shoulde denye vngodlynes & worldly lustes, and that we shoulde lyue sobre mynded ryghtuouslye and Godly in this present worlde, ¹³ lokynge for that blessed hope and gloryous apperyng of the myghtye God, and of oure sauyoure Iesu Christe, ¹⁴ whiche gaue hym selfe for vs, to redeme vs from al vnryghtuousnes and to pourge vs a peculyar people vnto him selfe, feruently geuen vnto good workes.

⁴ But after that the kyndnes and loue of our sauyoure God to man warde appered, ⁵ not of the dedes of rightuousnes, which we wrought but of hys mercy he saued vs, by the fountayne of the newe byrth, & with the renuyng of the holye ghost, ⁶ which he shed on vs aboundauntly, thorowe Iesus Christe oure sauyoure,

⁹ not rendringe euyll for euyll, neyther rebuke for rebuke, but contrarywyse, blesse, remembryng that ye are thervnto called, euen that ye shoulde be heyres of blessinge.
