1 Kings 4:22-28

22 And Salomons fode was in one day thyrtye quarters of manchet floure and thre skore quarters of mele: 23 ten stalled oxen, & twentye out of the pastures & an hundred shepe and gootes, besydes, hertes, buckes and buballes & fat pultrye. 24 For he ruled in all the regyons on the other syde Euphrates, from Thaphsah to Gaza, and also ouer all the kinges on the other syde the sayd Euphrates. And he had peace with all hys seruauntes on euery syde. 25 And Iuda and Israell dwelt wythout feare, euery man vnder his vyne & vnder his fygge tre from Dan to Bersabe, all the dayes of Salomon. 26 And Salomon had fourtye thousand stalles of horsses for charettes, & twelue thousand horsmen 27 And the forsayde general receyuers made purueyaunce for kyng Salomon and for all that came to kynge Salomons table, euery man hys moneth, so that there lacked nothynge. 28 And as for barleye and strawe for the horsses & beastes, they brought vnto the places where the offycers were, euery man in his offyce.

1 Chronicles 27:25-31

25 Ouer the kynges treasure was Azmoth the sonne of Adiel. And ouer the treasure of the feldes, in the cytyes, villages and castelles, was Iehonathan, the sonne of Oziah. 26 And ouer the worckemen in the feldes that tylled the ground was Ezri the sonne of Chelub. 27 And the ouersyght of the vyneyardes had Semeiah the Ramathite. Ouer the wynecellers & treasure of wyne was Sabdi the Saphonite. 28 And ouer the olyuetrees & mulberytrees that were in the valeys was Baal Hanan the Gadarite. And ouer the treasure of oyle was Ioas. 29 And ouer the oxen that fed in Saron was Setari the Saronite. And ouer the oxen in the valeys was Saphat the sonne of Adlai. 30 And ouer the camels Vbil the Ismaelite. And ouer the Asses was Iohadiah the Merothite. 31 And ouer the shepe was Iazis the Hagarite. All these were the rulers of the substaunce of kyng Dauid.

1 Chronicles 29:2-9

2 Moreouer I haue prepared with al my myghte for the house of God, golde for thynges of goulde, and syluer for thynges of syluer, brasse for thynges of brasse, yron for thynges of yron, and wood for thynges of wood: & onykes stones, set stones, and of other gay stones, and all maner of precyouse stones, and of marbre great aboundaunce. 3 And yet because I haue luste to the house of my God: I haue seuerall goulde and syluer which I geue to the house of my God aboue all I haue prepared for the holye house: 4 euen thre thousande talentes of goulde of Ophir, and seuen thousande talentes of syluer tryed: to syle the walles of the house 5 with goulde where it becometh, and wyth syluer where syluer is mete, and for all maner of worcke by the handes of artificers. And let me se who is wyllynge also, to fyll hys hande for the Lorde thys daye. 6 And the auncyent Lordes and the Lordes of the trybes of Israel, and the Capytaynes of thousandes and hundredes & the Lordes ouer the substaunce of the kynge, were wyllynge, 7 and gaue for the seruyce of the house of God, fyue thousande talentes of goulde, and ten thousande peces of goulde coynes, and ten thousande talentes of syluer, and .xviij. thousande talentes of brasse, and an hundred thousande talentes of yron. 8 And they that had precyouse stones, gaue them for the treasure of the house of the Lorde, vnto the hande of Iehiell the Gersonite. 9 And the people reioysed that they were so wyllynge: for wyth a pure herte they were wyllynge vnto the Lorde. And therto Dauid the kynge reioysed with great gladnesse.

2 Chronicles 4:18-22

18 And made of all these vesselles so myghty great aboundaunce, that the weight of brasse coulde not be rekened. 19 And Salomon made all the vesselles that pertayned to the house of God: the goulden aulter and the tables with the shewe breade vpon them, 20 the candelstickes with theyr lampes to burne after the maner before the quere, & that of pure goulde, 21 and the floures and the lampes, and the snoffers were goulde, & that perfecte goulde: 22 and the dressynge knyues, basens, spones and censers of pure goulde. And the ynner dores of the place moost holye, and the dores of the temple to, were goulde.

2 Chronicles 26:4-11

4 And he dyd that pleased the Lord, in al pointes as dyd hys father Amaziah. 5 And he soughte God, whyle Zachariah the teacher to se God lyued: and as longe as he sought the Lorde, God made him prospere. 6 And he went to battel agaynst the Philistines and brake doune the walles of Geth, and the walles of Iabneh and the walles of Asdod, and buylt cities about Asdod & among the Philistines. 7 And God holpe him against the Philistines & againste the Arabiens that dwelt in Gurbaal, & against the Meunites. 8 And the Ammonites gaue tribute to Oziah, & his name sprede abroade euen to Egipt: for he played the man exceaded. 9 Moreouer Oziah buylte toures in Ierusalem ouer the corner gate, & ouer the valeye gate, and ouer other corners, and made them stronge. 10 And he built toures in the wildernesse & digged many welles. For he had much catel, both in the valey and also in the playne: and plowmen and vinedressers in the mountaynes and in Charmel, for he loued husbandrye. 11 And Oziah had an host of fyghtyng men that went out to warre in the armye & were tolde & numbred by Ieiel the scrybe & Maasiah an officer, vnder the hand of Hananiah one of the kynges Lordes.

Nehemiah 10:39

39 For the children of Israel & the chyldren of Leui shall brynge vp the heaueofferynges of the corne, wine and oyle vnto the chestes. And ther shal be the vessels of the sanctuarye, & the priestes that minyster, and the porters and syngers, that we forsake not the house of oure God.

Nehemiah 13:5-13

5 for he had made hym a greate cheste, and there had they afore tyme layed the meatofferynges, frankencense vessel, and the tythes of corne, wyne and oyle (accordynge to the commaundement geuen to the Leuytes, syngers & porters) and the heaueofferynges of the priestes. 6 But in all thys was not I at Ierusalem: for in the two and thyrthyeth year of Arthaxerses kynge of Babilon, came I vnto the king, and after certayne dayes obtayned I lycence of the king 7 to come to Ierusalem. And I gat knowledge of the euyll that Eliasib byd vnto Tobiah, in that he had made hym a chest in the courte of the house of God, 8 and it greued me sore, and I cast forthe all the vessels of the house of Tobiah out of the chest, 9 and commaunded them to clense the cheste. And thyther broughte I agayn the vessels of the house of God, the meateofferynge and the incense. 10 And I perceyued, that the porcyons of the Leuites were not geuen them, for the whiche cause the Leuytes & syngers were fled, euerye one to hys lande for to worke. 11 Then reproued I the rulers, and sayde: why forsake we the house of God. But I gathered them together & set them in theyr place. 12 Then brought al Iuda the thythes of corne, wyne and oyle vnto the treasure. 13 And I made treasures ouer the treasure, euen Selemiah the prieste, and Zadoc the scrybe, and of the Leuytes Phadaiah & vnder theyr hande Hanan the sonne of Zacur the sonne of Mathaniah: for they were counted faythfull, and theyr offyce was to dystrybute vnto theyr brethren.

21 That I may sende prosperitie to those that loue me, & to encrease their treasure.

6 In the house of the ryghtuous are greate rytches, but in the increase of the vngodlye ther is mysorder.

15 A mouth of vnderstanding is more worth then gold, many precious stones, & costly iewels.

Proverbs 27:23-27

23 Se that thou know the number of thy catell thy selfe, and loke wel to thy flockes. 24 For riches abyde not alway, & the crowne endureth not for euer. 25 The hey groweth, the grasse commeth vp, & herbes are gathered in the mountaynes. 26 The lambes shall clothe the, and for the gotes 27 thou shalt haue goates mylcke ynough to fede the, to vpholde thy housholde, and to susteyne thy maydens.

Matthew 13:52

52 Then sayd he vnto them. Therfore euery Scribe which is taught vnto the kyngdome of heauen is lyke an housholder, whiche bringeth forth, out of his treasur, thinges both new & old.
