1 The kinges hert is in the hand of the Lord, lyke as are the ryuers of water: he maye turne it whether so euer he wyll.
2 Euery man thynketh hys owne waye to be ryght, but the Lord iudgeth the herts.
3 To do ryghtuousnes & iudgment is more acceptable to the Lorde then sacrifyce.
4 A presumptuous loke, a proude stomacke, and the lanterne of the vngodly is synne.

11 When the scornefull is punyshed, the ignoraunt take the better hede: and when a wyse man is warned, he wyll receaue the more vnderstandynge.
12 The ryghtuous enfourmeth the house of the vngodlye, but the vngodlye goo on styll after their owne wyckednesse.
13 Who so stoppeth hys eare at the cryenge of the pore he shal cry him selfe and not be herd
14 A preuy rewarde pacyfyeth displeasure & a gift in the bosome stilleth furiousnes.
15 The iust delyteth in doinge the thing that is ryghte, but the worckers of wyckednesse abhorre the same.
16 The man that wandereth out of the way of wysdome, shall remayne in the congregacion of the dead.
17 He that hath pleasure in banckettes, shalbe a poore man: Who so deliteth in wyne and delicates, shall not be ryche.
18 The vngodlye shalbe geuen for the ryghtuous, and the wicked for the iust.
19 It is better to dwell in a wyldernesse, then wyth a chidynge and an angrye woman.
20 In a wyse mans house there is a greate treasure and a plenteousnesse, but a foolish body spendeth vp all.
21 Who so foloweth ryghtuousnes and mercy, fyndeth both life, ryghtuousnes and honoure.
22 A wyse man wynneth the citye of the mighty, and as for strength that they trust in, he bryngeth it downe.
23 Who so kepeth his mouth and his tong, the same kepeth hys soule from troubles.
24 He that is proud & presumptuous, is called a scorneful man, whyche in wrath darre worke malycyouslye.
25 The voluptuousnesse of the slouthfull is hys owne death, for hys handes wyll not laboure.
26 He coueteth and desyreth all the day longe, but the ryghtuous is alwaye geuynge, and kepeth nothynge backe.
27 The sacrifyce of the vngodly is abhominacion, for they offer the thyng that is gotten with wickednes.
28 A false witnesse shall perish, but he that wilbe content to heare, shall alway haue power to speake him selfe.
29 An vngodly man goeth forth rashlye, but the iuste refourmeth his owne waie.
30 There is no wysdome ther is no vnderstandyng, there is no councell agaynste the Lorde.
31 The horse is prepared against the day of battail, but the Lord geueth the victory.

14 What auayleth it my brethren, thoughe a man saye he hath faythe, when he hath no deedes? Can fayth saue hym?
15 If a brother or a sister be naked or destitute of dayly fode,
16 and one of you saye vnto them: Departe in peace, God sende you warmnes and fode: not wyth standynge ye geue them not those thynges which are nedefull to the bodye: what helpeth it them?
James 3:2-13
2 for in many thinges we synne all. Yf a man synne not in worde, the same is a perfect man and able to tame al the bodye.
3 Beholde we put bittes into the horsses mouthes that they shoulde obeye vs, and we turne aboute all the body.
4 Behold also the shyppes, which though they be so greate and are dryuen of fyers wyndes, yet are they turned aboute wyth a verye smale helme, whether soeuer the vyolence of the gouerner wyll
5 euen so the tonge is a lyttell member, and boasteth greate thinges. Beholde howe greate a thynge a lyttell fyre kyndleth,
6 and the tonge is fyre, and a worlde of wickednes. So is the tong set among our members, that it defyleth the whole body and setteth a fyre all that we haue of nature, & is it selfe set a fyre euen of hell.
7 All the natures of beastes, and of byrdes, and of serpentes, and thynges of the sea, are meked and tamed of the nature of man.

1 From whence commeth warre & fyghtynge amonge you: come they not hear hence? euen of your voluptuousnes, that rayne in youre membres.
2 Ye luste & haue not. Ye enuye and haue dignacyon, and cannot obtayne. Ye fyght and war and haue not, because ye axe not.
3 Ye axe and receyue not, because ye axe a mysse: euen to consume it vpon youre voluptuousnes
4 Ye aduouterers, & women that breake matrimonye: knowe ye not, how that the frendeshyppe of the worlde is enmitie to God warde? Who so euer wyl be a frende of the worlde, is made the enemy of God.
5 Eyther do ye thynke that the scrypture sayeth in vayne. The spyryte that dwelleth in you lusteth euen contrarye to enuye:

22 And for as muche as ye haue puryfyed, youre soules thorowe the spyryte, in obeying the truethe for to loue brotherlye wythout faynynge, se that ye loue one another with a pure herte feruentlye:
23 for ye are borne a newe, not of mortal seede, but of immortall, by the word of God whiche lyueth, and lasteth for euer.

2 Peter 2:3
3 and thorowe couetousnes shal they wyth fayned wordes make marchaundyse of you, whose iudgement is not farre of, and theyr dampnacion slepeth not.
4 For yf God spared not the aungels that sinned but cast them downe into hell, and deliuered them into chayns of darckenes, to be kept vnto iudgement,
5 neyther spared the olde worlde, but saued Noe the ryght preacher of rightuousnes, and brought in the floud vpon the worlde of the vngodly,
6 and turned the cyties of Sodom and Gomor into ashes, ouerthrowe them, dampned them, and made on them an ensample vnto all that after shoulde lyue vngodly.
7 And iust Lot vexed with the vnclenly conuersacyon of the wicked, deliuered he.
