⁹ And they whiche were hyred about the eleuenth houre, came and receyued euery man a peny.

² And he agreed with the labourers for a peny a daye, and sent them into hys vyneyarde.

⁶ And he went out about the eleuenth houre, and founde other standynge ydel, and sayde vnto theim: Why stande ye here all the day ydell? ⁷ They sayde vnto hym: because no man hath hyred vs. He sayde to them go ye also into my vyneyarde, & whatsoeuer is right, that shall ye receyue.

⁴⁰ The other aunswered and rebuked him saiyng. Neither fearest thou God, because thou art in the same damnacion? ⁴¹ We are ryghtuously punished, for we receyued accordinge to our dedes. But this man hath done nothinge amisse. ⁴² And he sayd vnto Iesus: Lord remembre me when thou commeste into thy kyngdome. ⁴³ And Iesus sayd vnto him: Verely I saye vnto the: to daye shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

³ For what sayth the scripture? Abraham beleued God, and it was counted vnto hym for ryghteousnes. ⁴ To hym that worketh, is the rewarde not reckened of fauoure: but of dutye. ⁵ To hym that worketh not, but beleueth on hym that iustifyeth the vngodly, is hys fayth counted for ryghteousnes. ⁶ Euen as Dauid descrybeth the blessedfulnes of the man vnto whome God ascrybeth ryghteousnes withoute dedes.

²⁰ But the law in the meane tyme entred in, that sinne should encreace. Neuerthelater where aboundaunce of synne was, there was more plentuousnes of grace, ²¹ that as synne had reygned vnto death, euen so myght grace raygne thorow rightuousnes vnto eternall lyfe, by the helpe of Iesus Christe.

⁶ to the prayse of the glory of hys grace, wherewith he hath made vs accepted in the beloued. ⁷ By whome we haue redemption thorowe hys bloude, euen the forgeuenes of synnes accordyng to the ryches of hys grace ⁸ he shedde on vs aboundauntlye in all wysdome & perseueraunce.

⁸ For by grace are ye made safe thorowe fayth, and that not of youre selues. For it is the gyfte of God, ⁹ and commeth not of workes, leste anye man should bost him selfe. ¹⁰ For we are his worckmanshyp created in Christe Iesus to good workes, vnto the, whyche God ordeined vs before, that we should walke in them.

¹⁴ Neuerthelater the grace of oure Lorde was more aboundaunt wyth fayth and loue whiche is in Christ Iesu. ¹⁵ Thys is a true saiynge and by all meanes worthy to be receyued, that Christ Iesus came into the worlde to saue synners, of whom I am chiefe. ¹⁶ Not wythstandyng for this cause was mercye geuen vnto me that Iesus christ shoulde fyrste shewe on me all longe pacience vnto the ensample of them whiche shal in tyme to come beleue on hym vnto eternall lyfe.
