²⁴ And strayght way the father of the chylde cryed with teares saying: Lorde I beleue, helpe myne vnbelefe.

¹² haplye the Lorde wyl loke on my wretchednesse, and do me good for hys cursynge thys daye.

⁵ turne agayn & tell Hezekiah the captayne of my people. Thus sayth the Lorde God of Dauid thy father: I haue hearde thy prayer & seane thy teares. Behold I wyll heale the, and this daye thre dayes thou shalt go vp into the house of the Lorde.

¹² Heare my prayer O Lorde, and consyder my callynge: shewe not thy selfe as though thou sawest not my teares. For I am a straunger and pilgrymme wyth the, as all my forefathers were.

⁵ They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioye.

¹⁷ This shalt thou saye also vnto them: Myne eyes shall wepe without ceassynge daye and night. For my people shalbe destroyed wyth great harme, and shall perysh wyth a great plage.

³⁸ and she stode at his fete behinde him wepinge, and began to washe his fete with teares, and dyd wype them wyth the heares of her head, and kyshed his fete, and annoynted them with oyntment.

⁴⁴ And he turned to the woman, and sayde vnto Symon: Seist thou this woman? I entred into thy house, and thou gauest me no water to my fete, but she hath washed my fete with teares and wyped them wyth the heyres of her head.

⁵ And the Apostles sayed vnto the Lorde: encrease oure fayth.

¹⁹ While Peter thoughte on thys vision, the spyryte sayed vnto hym: Beholde men seke the,

³¹ and sayd: Cornelius, thy prayer is hearde, and thine almes deades are had in remembraunce in the sight of God.

⁴ For in great affliction and anguyshe of herte I wrote vnto you with many teares: not to make you sory, but that ye myght perceyue the loue which I haue most specially vnto you.

⁸ For by grace are ye made safe thorowe fayth, and that not of youre selues. For it is the gyfte of God,

²⁹ For vnto you it is geuen, that not onely ye should beleue on Christ, but also suffre for his sake,

³ We are bounde to thanke God alwayes for you brethren, as it mete, because that your fayth groweth excedingly, and euerye one of you swimmeth in loue towarde another betwene youre selues,

¹¹ Wherfore we praye alwayes for you that oure God make you worthye of the callynge and fulfyll al delectacyon of goodnes and the worke of fayth, wyth power

⁴ desyrynge to se the, myndefull of thy teares: so that I be fylled with ioy,

⁷ Which in the daies of his flesh did offer vp praiers and supplications, wyth strong criynge and teares, vnto him that was able to saue hym from death, and was also hearde because of his Godlines.

² lokynge vnto Iesus the author and fynysher of our fayth, whiche for the ioye that was set before hym, abode the crosse, and despised the same, and is set doune on the ryght hande of the throne of God.

¹⁷ Ye know how that afterwarde when he wolde haue inheryted the blessyng, he was put by & he found no meanes for to come therby again no thoughe he desyred it with teares.
