²⁹ Iesus aunswered hym: the fyrst of al the commaundementes is. Heare Israel: The Lorde God is one Lorde.

⁴ Heare Israel, the Lord thy God is Lord onely,

¹² And now Israel what is it that the Lord thy God requireth of the, but to feare the lord thy God and to walke in all hys wayes & to loue him & to serue the Lord thy God with al thyne herte, & with al thy soule,

⁶ And the Lorde the God wyll circumcise thine hert & the herte of thy sede for to loue the Lord thy God wyth al thyne hert & all thy soule, that thou mayst lyue.

²⁶ My sonne, geue thyne hert, & let thyne eies haue pleasure in my wayes.

³⁷ He that loueth hys father, or mother more then me, is not mete for me. And he that loueth hys sonne or doughter more then me, is not mete for me.

⁹ And call no man your father vpon the earth, for there is but one your father, & he is in heauen.

³² And the Scribe sayd vnto him: wel master thou haste sayde the trueth, that there is one God, & that there is none but he. ³³ And to loue hym with all the herte, and with al the mynd, and with all the soule, & with all the strength. and to loue a mans neyghbour as hym selfe, is a greater thyng then all burntoffrynges & sacrifices.

²⁷ And he aunswered and sayde: Loue thy Lorde God with all thy hert, and with al thy soule, and with all thy mynde, and thy neyghboure as thy selfe.

³⁰ For it is God onelye which iustifyeth circumcysyon whiche is of fayth, and vncircumcysyon thorowe fayth.

⁴ To speake of meate dedicate vnto Idols, we are sure that there is none Idol in the world and that there is none other God but one.

²⁰ he is not a mediator of one. But God is one.

⁵ for the ende of the commaundement is loue that commeth of a pure hert, & of a good conscience, and of fayth vnfayned:

⁵ For there is one God, and one Meadiatoure betwene God and man, which is the man Christ Iesus

¹⁹ Beleuest thou that there is one God? Thou doest well. The deuyls also beleue and tremble.

²⁵ that is to saye, to God oure sauyoure whiche onelye is wise be glorye maiestye, dominion and power, now and for euer. Amen.
