²³ And Iesus loked rounde about, and sayed vnto hys discyples: what an harde thynge is it for them that haue rychesse, to enter into the kyngedome of God.

³ and sayde. Verely I saye vnto you: excepte ye tourne, and become as chyldren, ye cannot enter into the kyngedome of heauen.

²³ Then Iesus sayd vnto his disciples: Verely I saye vnto you: it is harde for a riche man to enter into the kyngdom of heauen. ²⁴ And moreouer I saye vnto you, it is easier for a Camel to go thorow the eye of a nedle, then for a ryche man to entre into the kyngdom of God ²⁵ When his disciples hearde that, thei were exceadingly amased saying: who then can be saued? ²⁶ Iesus beheld them and sayde vnto them: with men this is impossible, but with God al thynges are possible.

⁵ And he loked rounde aboute on them angerly, mournynge on the blindnes of theyr hertes, & said to the man: stretch forth thyne hand. And he stretched it out. And hys hande was restored euen as whole as the other.

³² And he loked rounde about, for to se her that had done that thing.

¹⁵ Verely I saye vnto you: whosoeuer shall not receyue the kyngedome of God, as a chylde, he shall not enter therein.

²⁴ When Iesus sawe hym morne, he sayed: with what difficultye shall they that haue ryches, enter into the kyngedome of God:

⁵ Iesus aunswered: verely, verely, I saye vnto the: except that a man be boren of water and of the spyryte, he can not enter into the kyngdome of God.

²⁶ Brethren loke on youre callinge howe that not manye wyse men after the fleshe, not manie myghty, not manye of hye degre are called:

⁵ Harken my deare beloued brethren. Hath not God chosen the pore of thys world, which are ryche in faythe, and heyres of the kyngedome whiche he promysed to them that loue hym?

⁴ Ye aduouterers, & women that breake matrimonye: knowe ye not, how that the frendeshyppe of the worlde is enmitie to God warde? Who so euer wyl be a frende of the worlde, is made the enemy of God.

¹¹ Yea and by this meanes an entringe in, shalbe minystred vnto you aboundantlye into the euerlastinge kingdome of oure Lorde and sauiour Iesus Christ.
