²⁵ And he sayed vnto them: O fooles and slowe of hert to beleue all that the Prophetes haue spoken.

¹⁸ And he sayde to them: Are ye so without vnderstanding. Do ye not yet perceyue that, whatsoeuer thinge from without entreth into a man it can not defile him,

¹⁷ And when Iesus knew that, he sayd vnto them: why take ye thought because ye haue no bread perceyue ye not yet, neyther vnderstande? Haue ye your hertes yet blynded? ¹⁸ Haue ye eyes and se not? and haue ye eares and heare not? Do ye not remember?

¹⁹ He aunswered him and sayd: O generation without fayth, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Brynge hym vnto me.

¹⁴ After that he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and caste in theyr tethe theyr vnbelese and hardnes of hert: because they beleued not them which had sene hym after hys resurreccyon.

¹¹ Wherof we haue manye thinges to saye whiche are harde to be vttered, because ye are dull of hearinge. ¹² For when as concerneinge the tyme, ye oughte to be teachers, yet haue ye nede agayne, that we teache you the fyrst prynciples of the word of God, and are become such as haue nede of milk and not of stronge meate:
