²⁰ And howe the hye priestes and oure rulers delyuered him to be condempned to death: and haue crucifyed him.

¹ When the morning was come, al the chief priestes & the elders of the people held a counsell agaynste Iesus, to put hym to death, ² & broughte hym bounde and delyuered hym vnto Poncius Pilate the debitie.

²⁰ But the chief priestes and the elders had perswaded the people, that they shulde axe Barrabas and destroye Iesus.

¹ And anone in the daunynge the hye priestes helde a counsel with the elders, and the scribes, and the whole congregacion & bounde Iesus and ledde hym awaye, & delyuered hym to Pilate.

⁶⁶ And assone as it was daye the elders of the people and the hyghe priestes an scribes came together, and ledde him into their counsell saiynge:

¹³ And Pilate called together the hye priestes and the rulers, and the people,

¹³ The God of Abraham Isaac and Iacob, the God of our fathers hath glorified hys sonne Iesu, whom ye delyuered and denyed in the presence of Pylate, when he had iudged hym to be lowsed. ¹⁴ But ye denyed the holye and iuste: and desyred a mortherer to be geuen you ¹⁵ and kylled the Lorde of lyfe, whom god hath raysed from death, of the whiche we are wytnesses.

⁸ Then Peter full of the holy ghost sayed vnto them: ye rulars of the people, and elders of Israel, ⁹ if we thys day are examined of the good dede done to the sicke man by what meanes he is made whole: ¹⁰ be it knowen vnto you all and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Iesus Christe of Nazareth, whom ye crucifyed, and whom God raysed agayne from deathe, euen by hym doth thys man stande here presente before you whole.

²⁷ For of a trueth againste thy holy childe Iesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herode and also Poncius Pilate, with the Gentyls & the people of Israel, gathered them selues together, ²⁸ for to do whatsoeuer thy hande and thy councell determined before to be done.

³⁰ The God of our father raysed vp Iesus whom ye slewe and hanged on tree. ³¹ Hym hath God lyfte vp with his ryght hand to be a ruler and a sauiour, for to geue repentaunce to Israell and forgeuenes of synnes?

²⁷ The inhabiters of Ierusalem & theyr rulers, because they knowe him not, nor yet the voices of the prophetes which are reade euerye Saboth daye, they haue fulfylled them in condempnyng hym. ²⁸ And when they found no cause of death in hym, yet desyred they Pylate to kyll hym. ²⁹ And when they had fulfilled all that were written on hym, they toke hym doune from the tree, and put hym in a sepulchre.
